Q: What is wood firing? How is it different from regular ceramics

Wood firing is an ancient ceramic firing method that uses wood as fuel in a traditional kiln. Unlike electric or gas kilns, the process cannot be fully                  controlled. Natural flame movement, wood ash, and temperature variation create unique textures, colours, and surfaces on every piece. Each work is              shaped by fire, ash, clay, and time, making every firing result completely one-of-a-kind.

Q: Is every piece truly one-of-a-kind?

Yes. Because flame movement, ash deposits, and kiln positioning naturally vary during each firing, no two pieces will ever have identical textures,                    colours, or surface effects. Every work develops its own character through the firing process.

Usage & Care

Q: Are wood-fired ceramics food and drink safe?

Yes. All functional pieces are high-fired and suitable for everyday food and beverage use.

Q: Can I use wood-fired ceramics in the microwave or dishwasher?

We recommend avoiding both microwaves and dishwashers. Wood-fired ceramics are best hand-washed using warm water and a soft cloth or sponge.              Avoid sudden temperature changes to help extend the life of the piece.

Q: Is there anything I should do before first use?

For teaware and tea bowls, we recommend rinsing the piece with clean water or light tea before first use. This helps the ceramic absorb moisture                     gradually and develop character over time.

Wholesale & Collaboration

Q: Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes. We welcome enquiries from retailers, pottery studios, galleries, and curated shops. Wholesale pricing depends on order quantity and project                     requirements.

Q: What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantities vary depending on the type of work and firing requirements. Please contact us directly for details.

Q: Can I place a custom order?

Yes. We accept custom ceramic orders, including specific sizes, functions, and special requests. Due to the natural characteristics of wood firing, each             finished piece will remain unique and cannot be exactly replicated.

Q: What is the lead time?

Lead times depend on the firing schedule, shipment arrangement, and production volume. Wood firing projects generally require several weeks to a few        months. Exact timelines will be confirmed after inspection and approval.

Q: Do you offer consignment partnerships?

Yes. We are open to collaborations with galleries, pottery studios, and selected shops. Please contact us with information

about your space and project  ideas.

     Kiln Visits & Workshops

Q: Can I visit the kiln?

We occasionally organize kiln visits, demonstrations, and special events. Follow our latest updates through social media or announcements.

Q: Do you offer wood-firing workshops?

From time to time, we may organize wood-firing related experiences and educational events. Please contact us or follow our announcements for future          updates.

    Care & Maintenance

Q: How should I clean and care for my piece?

Hand wash gently with warm water using a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid steel wool, harsh cleaners, and sudden temperature changes. Allow pieces to air         dry naturally.

Q: What if my piece chips or breaks?

Small chips or cracks may sometimes be repaired using traditional restoration methods such as Kintsugi. For larger damage, feel free to contact us for            advice.
